Based on Joseph Cheaney’s iconic CAIRNGORM IIR, known for its refined presence and robust build, this model also features the 4436 Last, once used for British military footwear, offering a relaxed, comfortable fit. Its standout feature is the rare Veldtschoen construction, where the upper is stitched over thesole to minimize gaps and block out water and debris. Combined with "bellows tongue", where the tongue and quarters are crafted as one, the design delivers enhanced waterproof protection.

My initial concept was to integrate the distinctive CITIZEN Messenger style. I believe that reintroducing this classic design would effectively underscore the bag's aesthetic.
