Engineered Garments X Gola - Match Slip On - FW25
Gola Classics is pleased to announce the latest FW25 footwear collaboration with renowned Japanese menswear label, Engineered Garments. The capsule is available exclusively on Gola’s and Engineered Garments’ e-commerce sites, as well as Nepenthes New York, beginning on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Building on the British roots of the game squash and its synergy with Gola’s heritage, the Match sneaker style descends from Gola’s 1977 archive combined with a unique touch and update from Daiki Suzuki’s Engineered Garments label. In place of traditional laces on the fastening, a functional elastic panel is used instead, providing this collaboration a distinctive look and making this style easy to slip on and off.
Match is available in four colorways: navy with gum, sudan brown with gum, white with gum and all black that can easily complement a fall wardrobe color palette. Reimagined from a Gola classic, the silhouette utilizes both suede and cotton twill fabrications in the upper to feature an overlaid toe panel detail and a self-coloured mesh lining to give it a throwback to the decade. Match is finished with subtle Gola for Engineered Garments branding in the cushioned in-sock and on the tongue label, paired with Gola’s signature side wingflash in a sawtooth finish to bring function, ease and design to this collaboration.
